Could you please tell me where the boat ride to Yaxchilan starts. It looks like really nice ride. Thank you
For sure! It starts from Frontera Corozal, which is roughly 1 hour south of Bonampak. You will see the signs on the road directing you off to Frontera Corozal (the road down to Frontera Corozal is a bumpy one). There will be lots of people offering boat rides. Try to group up with others to reduce the cost of the trip. There were about 8 of us and we paid $120 mxn each. If you decide to stay there( frontera corozal), the cabañas Escudo Jaguar are nice. You can camp there too. Enjoy! Feel free to email me at info@mexicoretold.com for more info.
